However, the idea that gay people constantly and loudly make much of their sexuality is a pernicious lie and urban myth. I'm sure some do, but pleanty of straight people pretty much do the same thing. But no one bats an eyelid because it is so de rigeur.

If parents was to cosset their children. That is fine. But buying them a console and letting them connect to the internet unsupervised (because I am skeptical that an unsupervised child would last ten seconds before the lead was yanked from the wall...

Some of these responses are hilarious, but probably not for the reasons the commenter thought.
Part of me wonders whether all this ire, spit and bile due to FFVII being labeled as "not as good as commonly proclaimed," is because there is an uncomfortable, niggling doubt in many people's mind that maybe FFVII *isn't* actually as good as was thought at the time.
